Individuals are reimbursed for fraudulent use of their credit card by a stranger. So what if a modern-day Robin Hood cloned the cards of the rich and used them to donate to charities? The card company would have to agonise over whether to vilify this Robin Hood in a Sheriff of Nottingham way and reclaim the money from the charities, or to cough up the money themselves. If you steal money you should go to jail.
If you want to help charities you can put away some of your own money every month or help them with their fundraising.
