The Maiden Tower of Üsküdar

Kiz Kulesi (the Maiden Tower) is on the Bosphorus in Istanbul.
This is its story:
Once upon a time there was a wizard who after looking into his crystal ball said to the Queen that her daughter would die after being bitten by a snake.
The Queen built this Tower in the middle of the Bosphorus to protect her daughter.
Every day servants would take food and drink for her.
One day they delivered the food and drink by boat as usual but didn't spot a snake hiding in the box of food. When the daughter opened the box she was bitten by the snake and died.
Despite all the efforts of her mother, the servants and the guards to save her.
