Hoja and the Tigers

Nasreddin Hoja was throwing handfuls of bread all around his garden.

"Hoja! What are you doing?" his neighbour asked.

"Keeping the tigers away."

"But there aren't any tigers for thousands of miles!"

"Exactly. Effective, isn't it?"
